"Most employers say they want to have a great workplace culture, but they don't know how to create it. They might provide coffee, bring in a ping pong table, or host a picnic. While these are not bad things, they are not getting to the core of building the desired culture. Building culture requires identifying what matters most to the organization and which employee behaviors are desired. A great culture develops when the total rewards provided, everything from pay to work life effectiveness, are aligned with those goals."
