Jazz Flute with Galen
“See Lancaster Live”, a series of Lancaster Performing Arts offering a wide variety of affordable entertainment, hosts “Jazz Flute with Galen” on Saturday, July 9 at 6pm. The concert will be held in the beautifully restored Olde Lancaster Presbyterian Church, now known as Cultural Arts Center. The historic landmark, built in 1862, offers the finest acoustics, wowing musicians and audiences alike. Galen is an accomplished flutist, having recorded and performed with jazz greats such as John Patton, Clifford Adams, Curtis Boyd, Billy Taylor, Jimmy Heath,Chris White, Grachan Moncur, Sonny Phillips, Jimmy Ponder, Ralph Dorsey, Eddie Galdden, Mickey Tucker, and many others. Tickets are $20 per person plus tax and seating is limited.
